Destinyteller (the "App") respects and protects the privacy of all users. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and protect it, and the rights you have. By using the App, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to this Policy.
1. Information We Collect
To provide our divination services, we collect only the following information, limited to what is necessary:
- Account information: When you sign in with a third-party account (Google, Apple), we obtain your email address and display name to create and identify your account.
- Divination and usage data: The Bazi, Liuyao, and Plum Blossom charts you generate, as well as your conversations with the AI, used to produce results and provide history features.
- Device and technical information: Device model, operating system version, app version, and crash logs, used to keep the App stable and to diagnose issues.
We do not collect your precise location, contacts, photos, or other personal data unrelated to the service.
2. How We Use Information
- To provide, maintain, and improve our divination and AI conversation services;
- To process subscription purchases, renewals, and receipt validation;
- To send you essential service-related notifications;
- To diagnose and fix issues through anonymous crash logs and improve stability.
3. Third-Party Services
To deliver core features, the App integrates the following third-party services, which process relevant data under their own privacy policies:
- Google Sign-In / Apple Sign-In: for authentication (email and display name only).
- In-app purchases (Google Play / App Store): to process subscriptions and payments. We never access your card or payment credentials.
- Sentry: for anonymous crash and performance diagnostics. We have disabled its default collection of personal data (email, IP).
4. Data Storage and Security
- Your data is stored on secure cloud servers and protected with encryption in transit.
- We apply industry-standard technical and organizational measures to prevent unauthorized access, disclosure, or alteration.
- We never sell your personal data to any third party.
5. Data Retention and Deletion
- Your divination records and conversation history are retained while you use the App so you can review them.
- You can delete individual records at any time within the App, or delete your account to remove personal data associated with it. See our Account Deletion page for details.
- After account deletion, we will delete your personal data within a reasonable period, unless retention is required by law.
6. Children's Privacy
The App is intended for adults and is not directed to anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.
7. Your Rights
- Access and obtain a copy of your personal data;
- Request correction of inaccurate personal data;
- Request deletion of your personal data or account;
- Withdraw consent you previously granted.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted within the App, and material changes will be highlighted prominently.
